The Sticker Generation

In the current time we live in, it's not easy to stand out. With so much attention and popularity in the world of cars, being unique has unfortunately gotten a bit rare. Yes, there are lots of mad engine swaps, paint jobs, suspension stuff, but i'm not talking about all of that. What i'm saying is that the individuality in most cars seems to have disappeared. Sure, not everyone can afford to do a crazy mod to their car or even wants to, but what's there for the average car enthusiast to do to make his ride that much sweeter and different?

Well, why not stickers? Stickers seem to have been forgotten and are now mostly frowned upon, but i'm not suggesting for a moment we go back to the time of the first Fast and Furious movie, to the early 2000's. What i'm proposing is a tasty modification to your car, one that reflects your own personality and character. Lots of people are afraid that it will think look rice (race inspired cosmetic enhancement). But really, it's what you make it. Instead of adding lots of stickers with company logos on them which don't even pay you to do so, or ones that have no parts association with your car, why not add something that you really like? By all means, if you want racing stickers go for it, but don't do it just for the sake that every race car has one, because yours really isn't a race car. Instead, if you must go for a company logo, go for one you own, work in, or a company whose part you have installed on your vehicle.

In the end however, the question that keeps coming back is: Does it really matter? Well, no it doesn't. If you do something which makes you happy, why worry about what others think of it. Those who matter will like it, and those who like it will matter. I'm a firm believer that no one has the right to judge anyone on anything, especially not by their cars and modifications. Whatever you decide, just make sure YOU like it.

Furious Customs has some interesting vinyl stickers, go ahead and check them out right here.
