The fastest GT-R ever

The standard GT-R is no slouch, we can all agree on that right away. The upgraded 2017 version received even more power, as well as nicer interior, making it an all-round better vehicle. If you're insane and want more performance, there's the NISMO edition. Well, turns out that if you're a lunatic and want the ultimate, you can go to AMS and get your GT-R built to insane levels. Their Alpha packages extract the most out of the GT-R platform, and their newest creation just up the ante by a lot. Over the years, you've undoubtedly seen the Alpha 12 package, maybe even the Alpha Omega, which ran 7.85 at the drag strip on the quarter mile and achieved 234 mph on a 1/2 mile run. Well, the latest iteration comes in the form of their Alpha G package, and it's one hell of a monster. Get this: it develops 2,500 horsepower, and it just smashed the 1/4 mile record for a GT-R, running 7.14 @ 212 MPH! That's right, we're now approaching dragster times in a GT-R.
