Buddy Club equipped Scion FR-S with SF Challenge Wheels and Big Brake Kit

Posted

As a proud Buddy Club dealer in the USA, we love to see their products on well prepared vehicles like this Scion FR-S. Equipped with Buddy Club P1 Racing SF Challenge Wheels in 18×8.5 +40 all around in white with red pin stripe, the car has an unmistakable time attack JDM look. The open wheel design lets the onlooker peek at the huge 4 piston Buddy Club Big Brake Kit available in red or orange caliper colors.

Let’s take a closer look here…

The wheels weigh in at around 21 pounds which is pretty good for a relatively inexpensive 18″ wheel. It’s also available in matte black with yellow or red pin stripe. You’ll notice he is also running the Buddy Club lug nuts to finish off the wheels and keep them lightweight and in style.

The owner didn’t stop there with his modification though – he’s also running the full TOM’S lip kit in carbon fiber. It’s a great looking kit on the right application and this guy sure gets it. You are also unlikely to see many of these kits in the USA at all! It seems to be one of those “hate or love” lip kits, especially with the rear Lexus IS-F style exhaust that is controversial to say the least.

He’s also running the Buddy Club coilovers and bucket seats – this car is basically a poster child for all things great, JDM, and Buddy Club. We are anxiously looking forward to equipping our own Scion FR-S with these exact wheels (different color) – more on that soon!

What say you, do you like this style? What would you change about it to make it more personal to you?
